The Biological Reboot

The Biological Reboot turns the book’s framework into a calm, local-first daily wellness instrument. Today, Map, Conditions, plans, Book, Stack, lessons, and check-ins work on your device with no app account, tracking, subscription, or in-app purchase. Ask is optional: use Apple Intelligence on a supported iPhone without a separate key, or connect your own Claude, GPT, or Gemini API key. Nothing is sent until you review the provider-specific disclosure and press Send.
Open the menu, choose Apple Health, and grant the read permissions you want. The app can read sleep and sleep stages, heart-rate variability, resting and workout heart rate, workouts, active energy, exercise minutes, steps, mindful minutes, overnight respiratory rate and blood oxygen, and cardio fitness. Access is read-only; the app never writes to Apple Health. Permission is per data type and can be changed anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
No. The Book, Map, Conditions, Stack, labs, setup baselines, and daily-input check-ins work without a wearable. The current app does not provide manual nightly sleep-duration entry, so overnight sleep and HRV trends remain unavailable until Apple Health returns current samples; the app leaves those readings missing rather than guessing them.
Conditions accepts a diagnosis, symptom, injury, or recovery state in your own words. When a recognized name is available, the app shows the match and places the problem on the framework map. You can compare several problems and open a separate 30-day plan for each one. This is educational organization, not a diagnosis: a condition alone does not prove a cause, an active molecular lock, or a personal immune state.
The assistant is optional. Apple Intelligence is the private, keyless route on a compatible iPhone when Apple’s on-device model is available. It can search a bounded set of relevant passages from the embedded book, Pocket DNA, and Complete Mechanism Chain, but it does not use live web research. For broader context and current research, you can connect your own Claude, GPT, or Gemini API key. Supported cloud routes can use attachments and named research services after disclosure and consent. Your saved key stays on your device and is sent only to the provider you select to authenticate a request you initiate.
No. The app has no subscription and no in-app purchases. Apple Intelligence requires no separate provider key or Reboot charge. If you use Claude, GPT, or Gemini, that provider bills your own API account under its pricing. The app never sees your payment details and takes no share.
The app is local-first: there is no publisher server, account, analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking. Apple Intelligence runs through Apple’s on-device Foundation Models path. Ask sends your explicit question or attachment plus the context named in its consent sheet only when you press Send to a cloud provider. That request goes directly to the provider you select. Encrypted backup goes only to the destination you choose. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
Because everything is stored locally, deleting the app removes all of your data. You can also reset your information from within the app’s Settings.
No. The Biological Reboot is a wellness and education tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace care from a licensed professional. Always talk to your clinician before making changes to medications or supplements, and seek professional care for any medical concern.
